On September, 2nd 2006 the 10th Edition of Miss Arbėreshe took place in the park of the Termal Baths in Spezzano Albanese. The happening has been organized by “Pro Loco” of Spezzano with the contribution of several authorities as local municipality, MiBac, Regione Calabria, Provincia di Cosenza and Unpli. Finally, Valentina Schirņ of Mezzojuso (PA) has been declared as winner of the event among the 48 participants coming from 21 towns. The second price was awarded to Anna Maria Schirņ of Piana degli Albanesi (PA), while the third was given to Maria Antonietta Cannella of Palazzo Adriano (PA). Other special prices were awarded to: Anna Maria Lupinacci of San Giorgio Albanese (CS) as “Best Costume”; Chiara Basile Miracco of S. Sofia d’Epiro (CS) as “Miss Despar”; Maria Francesca Damis of Mongrassano (CS) as “Miss Smile”; Maria Ferraro of Cerzeto (CS) as “Miss Likeable”; Valeria Candreva of San Basile (CS) as “Miss Free Globe”; Valeria Carbona of S. Cristina di Gela (PA) as “Miss Terme”; Eliana Martino of Maschito (PZ) as “Miss Show”; Jolanda De Vita of Caraffa (CZ) as “Miss Interpretation”.
