Spezzano is a small town of about 7.038 inhabitants, it is in Calabria in the province of Cosenza. It is situated on a hill 320 metres above sea level between two rivers: the Esaro and the Crati.
The landscape is typically Mediterranean. From here you can see the Pollino Mountains, a national park and the great Sibari Plain that faces the Ionian sea.
The town can be reached from the A3 Salerno - Reggio Calabria motorway and from the SS 106.
Only 6 km from the town there is the railway station while the tourist port of Sibari is about 25 km from it. The closest airport is at Lamezia. Many national and international flights leave from here.
From the A3 motorway, arriving from the north, the exit is “Spezzano A. - Sibari”, from the south the exit is Tarsia and from the eastern coast road (SS 106) the exit is Sibari.
