It seems that the church of Our lady of Constantinople stands today on the site of a very old hermitage, first Basilian then Antonian which was a place of pilgrimage for the   faithful from the nearby towns. The Salimena family restored it in 1472. The church has a neoclassic structure with three naves and three doors.
